WHAT THIS TREATMENT OFFERS

A physical, emotional and symbolic treatment

What this treatment does

After birth, the body has been through a lot, particularly the pelvis, ligaments and nervous system. The Rebozo treatment helps to:

  • help the body close back in, particularly around the pelvis
  • relieve physical tension in the back, belly and shoulders
  • encourage a sense of stability and support
  • offer a moment to slow down and recover
  • provide emotional support through postpartum

It’s a treatment that marks a transition — one that’s often given little support today.

Who is it for?

This treatment is for women in postpartum.

It can be practised from the first days after birth. Following a caesarean, it’s recommended to wait around a month before the pelvic-closing work.

How the session unfolds

The session begins with a caring conversation, where you can share your experience, express what you’re feeling and take a moment to recentre, in a judgment-free space.

The treatment continues with a wrapping and rocking ritual: the body is wrapped, rocked, and gradually closed in at several key points — head, shoulders, pelvis and feet.

A GIFT IDEA

The perfect birth gift

While attention often turns to the baby, the Rebozo treatment makes space to take care of the mother — physically and emotionally.

It’s a thoughtful, deeply supportive gift, offering a real moment of recovery, rest and recentring after the intensity of birth. Giving a Rebozo treatment means honouring the transition she’s been through, and giving her permission to take time for herself, at a time when that can be hard to do.

Each session is unique and shaped entirely around your needs in the moment.
